32. Self-Compassion

Poor mental health has been correlated with physical health issues such as headaches, stomachaches, insomnia, etc. A healthy mind is as (if not more) important as a healthy body.

We have got to move past the current societal stigma and accept the reality that mental health matters and doesn’t have to look like crisis or a breakdown. Feelings stemming from stress, overwhelm, grief, relationship issues, and/ or a lack of motivation can all be treated with therapy.

If you watch what you eat and try to incorporate exercise into your daily life to try to take care of your body, it just doesn’t make any sense not to begin taking care of your mind and maintaining mental wellness.
